Context
BSNL’s MPLS backbone needed stronger DDoS protection, network management and a core router refresh, delivered through several OEMs and subcontractors under strict SLAs.
Approach
Three concurrent programmes run through a single project-control roadmap, 150+ consultants and OEM partners (IBM, HPE, Cisco, Arbor), and close alignment with site teams, the client and government officials.
Outcome
500 Gbps anti-DDoS mitigation live in three months (₹50 Cr revenue), 200+ core routers refreshed with zero business-hour impact, HPE NNMi/TeMIP across 1,000+ network elements, SLA penalties cut from 7% to 0.5% in six months, zero delay penalties and 98% CSAT.
